In my more recent work I started experimenting with free-standing organic forms as well as continued with my sculptural vessels.

I’ve been using , almost exclusively, hard marine timbers salvaged from old harbours, mostly Greenheart, Jarrah and Iroko with some Opepe and Australian Gums.

Most of the shallow vessels are about 12″ wide by 3.5 high and 24″-28″ long. All work finished with a mixture of oils and resins and displayed on polished stone bases or tiles.

I will be returning to my sea and still life reliefs later this year as well as continuing with my free-standing forms and sculptural vessels.
